The family event I had was when we went to Orlando, Florida. We went to Disneyworld. The sun was like a golden pancake when we stepped out of the van. The road glimmered like stars in a black sky. It was a wonderful autumn morning. There was a slight breeze and no clouds in the bright blue sky. When we first stepped into the park, I could hear the screams of pure joy and terror coming from the children. We first went to a food vendor since we were hungry. I could smell the different aromas like the sweetness of cotton candy. We bought some popcorn and I tasted the warm, buttery richness of it. The parents we tired so we sat down on a picnic bench. I could feel the roughness of the wood while I was looking at the rides, finding one I wanted to go on. My cousin dragged me to the wave pool. The trees we passed on our way there had leaves of different colors falling down in spiral to the bright green grass. The waves were really high and the land with a big splash. The Tower of Terror was awesome. You sit down on seats and move forward. There is a wide screen when you stop. Then all of a sudden, swoosh, you drop 13 stories! Then you go back up and down until the rides over. Another ride I liked was Testtrack. You sit in a car which fit about six people. It takes you down the track, toward a set of doors. The doors open and you go inside. The doors then close. Suddenly you stop and the room starts getting very hot. After a few minutes the doors open, you get out of the room and into another one. This is very cold. The doors open and you go forward towards an open track. The car then goes about 70 mph. this is the funniest part. The last ride is the Rock and Roll Rollercoaster. It is fast and fun. There are twist and turns. You even go upside down. All through out the day it was sunny and hot. We had to wait in long lines. Especially when we waited an hour for a ride that was awful. It was my cousin's fault because he said it was awesome. My brother whined a lot about the lines. Once we even told our parents to wait in line while we went to look for something to eat. That was my family vacation to Florida.
